Play-By Play
Over the summer of 2023 I called, produced, and broadcast 101 baseball games for the Post 22 Hardhats American Legion baseball team in Rapid City, South Dakota. I called 3 tournaments and even the Central Plains regional where view counts often exceeded 1,000 concurrent viewers.
Action Sample
I've decided to include both an action sample, a sample on how I'm able to capture the thrilling moments, and a mundane sample of how I'm able to commentate and retain somebody's attention during the lulls of a game.
Calm Sample
This is my more mundane game call for the normal parts which may not appear as exciting. For reference I was also keeping score and running the scorebug for this broadcast as I called this.
Full Game
This is my call, along side my color commentator Dylon Marsh, of the championship game of a tournament Post 22 was hosting. I believe this to be the most complete call I have to date. (subject to change)
